Moss Cottages are located near Newbiggin-on-Lune in Cumbria approximately 6 miles from junction 38 on the M6.

From the M6
Exit at junction 38. Take the A685 towards Brough. After about 6 miles Moss Cottages is signposted on the right hand side of the road. There is a short track up to the cottages.

From the A1
Take the A66 west from Scotch corner to Brough. Turn south at Brough on the A685. Follow the A685 through Kirkby Stephen. About 5 miles past Kirkby Stephen is the village of Newbiggin-on-Lune. Continue through the village on the A685. Shortly after Newbiggin-on-Lune Moss Cottages are signposted on the left hand side of the road.

The Lake District National Park is to the west, the Yorkshire Dales National Park is to the south east and the North Pennines, Durham and Northumbria to the north east. Moss Cottages are a central location for enjoying all these locations in one holiday.
